Coach Gardocki attended Emory University on scholarship and was captain and MVP all three years. He received the William H. McCord award for outstanding athletic performance his senior year. He was selected as the number one player in the state for Olympic tryouts on two occasions and as a member of the Wallbangers, an indoor professional team which unfortunately folded before playing a game. Gardocki established and coached the first high school soccer team in Cherokee County at Etowah High School and has also coached at Henderson and South Forsyth high schools. He is a nationally certified “C” level coach, receiving his certification at the age of nineteen, and has conducted “D” level certification courses for the state. He has also coached amateur and club soccer for almost twenty years.
